  • You can give your Aadhar card and other details to the officials there.
  • Do fill the form and give it to the executive there along with the necessary document proof.
  • They will need your biometric to feed the details and for authentication purposes,
  • When the original document gets verified & scanned, it will be given back to you again.
  • On the completion of the process, they will give you an acknowledgement slip that will contain the acknowledgement number
  • Acknowledgement number will enable you to know the status of Aadhaar updates.

The Process to Change Name in Aadhaar Card After Marriage, Given Step-By-Step | Online:

  • Do login into the self-service update portal by filling your Aadhar number
  • Put in your name/surname change request in the proper format
  • In the next step, you will need to upload the self-attested scanned copy along with the supporting documents.
  • You will receive an OTP in your registered mobile number and you will have to authenticate it via the this OTP.

You will need to pay a nominal fee of ₹ 50. It will include all the taxes.

When the update request gets submitted, an acknowledgement slip will be given to you. The applicant can not be beyond the prescribed limit of UIDAI. If you are asked above the prescribed limit, you can file an online complaint through the Grievance Redressal Mechanism
